Belta’s identity was designed to live beyond the plate. The work balances pride and playfulness, using character, warmth, and authenticity to create something that feels unmistakably local and alive.

BRAND CHARACTER

Meet Bobby Belta, the magpie. A cheeky nod to Newcastle’s heritage and humour, he embodies the brand’s soul: graft, charm, and community. Bobby appears across applications, adding wit and personality to everything he touches.

DESIGN PHILOSOPHY

The system celebrates everyday Geordie life through bold typography, earthy textures, and playful language, ensuring every touchpoint carries Belta’s signature “Propa Welcome.”
